Vela Smrdeća je velika pješčana plaža na sjeveru otoka. Velike naslage morske trave nanešene maestralom na obalu razlog su njena imena - "Smrdeća". Kopneni pristup plaži nije jednostavan.
Vela Smrdeća is a big sandy beach on the north of the island. Huge piles of seaweeds brought by mistral on the shore of the bay explain its name - "Smrdeća" ("Stinky"). Land access to the beach is not easy.
Vela Smrdeća è una grande spiaggia sabbiosa nel nord dell'isola. Grossi cumuli di alghe portate dal maestrale sulla riva della baia ne spiegano il nome "Smrdeća" (puzzolente). Raggiungere la spiaggia via terra non è facile.
